Does anyone know a name of a dictionary that gives both difinition and sentances of each word?

having a hard time putting some latin words in a santance. so please help....

Does anyone know a name of a dictionary that gives both difinition and sentances of each word?
Yes. Lewis and Short, and the Oxford Latin Dictionary. You can find an online version of Lewis and Short at perseus.org. Click on classics, and lexica and other tools.

This dictionary was first published in 1948 with A. S. Hornby as editor; the current edition (as of 2005) is the seventh (editor: Sally Wehmeier), and runs to 1,880 pages. It is now published on paper and as a CD-ROM (ISBN 0-19-431586-X).
