Can you find your name in the dictionary? if so, what does it mean?

It means "gift of God".

Can you find your name in the dictionary? if so, what does it mean?
Whew! I have always looked for the meaning of my last name...Faslund. I have been told by many Scandinavian people...it means a "Fasch'---stand of trees. 'Lund'---a body of water. Now, in Denmark, it had a different meaning. 'Water by the Barrows'. Barrows are ancient burial mounds in Denmark.....Tolkien mentions 'barrows' in 'The Hobbit'.


Elysabeth is the German spelling of 'Elizabeth'. And from that comes the Hebrew origins.

Reply:My name isn't in the English dictionary, since I have an Indian name. But it means "tiny drops of water (ie. dew, sprinkles)
