What name (set) of dictionary's do you own? or do you go on line? thank you!!!?

If I could afford an Oxford I would use it, mainly because it gives plenty of etymological background; but I do have a concise Oxford and an Oxford Dictionary of Australian words, which lists only words with unique usage in Australia. My main dictionary is a Macquarie, which gives limited etymology, but enough for most purposes. If I want more, Merriam Webster's online is quite thorough. The full OED is online too, but you have to pay a subscription.

Excuse me, I have The Childrens' Dictionary, The Oxford Dictoinary, The American Heritage Dictionary and many more informational refrences. I do not believe in using the computer for anything other than helping people in need, such as on Yahoo Answers.

Oh, and by the way.

Reply:I prefer to use a paper dictionary because those on line dictionaries are not very reliable sometimes.

I have two Oxford :one for American English and the other is English-Spanish.

I also have a Cambridge which is really good.

and I have a Webster's but I really don't care much about it.
Reply:Webster's Collegiate, two editions of American Heritage, a 1930 Webster's Unabridged, the OED (compact edition), a couple of others that seldom get opened--but if I'm already at the computer when a word-related question comes up, I check it online.
Reply:When I need a translation I go on line:
