All right, Lee is a German name but you wont find it in a german name dictionary. My friend told me it was....

created among the other countries around Germany and became a german name. But I forgot what the word is. Lee is some sort of name but I cant remember what that word is. Does anyone know it?

I was a host student in Germany and I've never heard of Lee even being a German first name. There's names like Leopold and Leo, but they are pronounced Lay-oh-pold and Lay-oh (e generally makes an "ay" sound in German), so Germans would pronounce your name as Lay.

According to the baby name dictionary I just looked at, Lee is of English origin meaning "field".
Reply:I thought Lee was a Korean name?
Reply:It's derived from Old English leah "meadow".
Reply:I don't know of any German name Lee, neither first nor last.

The only thing I can think of is "lee" which means "lee, leeward". Are you sure you got the right spelling?
